Stock No. 9270 Universal balancing machine for propellers of a diameter of 12" (300mm) to 40" (1000mm) and borings of 8.0/10.0/12.0 and 20 mm in diameter. The maximum hub thickness of the propeller is 48mm. The FEMA-balancing machine is world-wide the only one that lets you balance-out the propellers lengthways and sideways to the rotor blades. Due to the simple handling and to the high-precision display, every model maker can now balance-out exactly the propellers on his own. A propeller that is perfectly balanced-out protects the internal combustion engine and the radio control from harmful vibration and also reduces the noise development to a minimum. Stock No. 9280 Blade rotor head with a fastening boring of 3, 4, 5, and 6 mm Using this rotor blade balancer equipped with a level, rotor blades can be statically balanced with great precision. The reading is accurate to as low a value as 0,05g at a distance of 20cm. This is achieved with the aid of the built-in level in conjunction with practically friction-free pendulum-type bearing Prior to bolting a pair of rotor blades onto the blade holder the centre of gravity of each blade has to be established first and, if necessary, corrected, The c.o.g. position of the pair of blades, too, must be identical. It is only then that a pair of blades can be balanced with the unit. In ease of 3-bladed or multi-bladed rotors the heaviest of the rotor blades has to be found first; the lighter ones have then to be brought up to the weight of the heavier one - one by one - by applying lengths of pressure sensitive tape at the centre of gravity of the blades. The Blade rotor head ist prepared for blades with 3, 4, 5, and 6 mm. |
