The electronic on-board starting systems can basically be used in two different
operating modes:
Starting of the internal combustion engine via the radio control.
At this operating mode, the internal combustion engine can be started on
the ground as well as in the air via the radio control. In this case the NC-storage
battery is placed inside the model.
Heater plug engines allow the following operational sequence:
>
When switch I is turned, the IC-servo switches on the heater plug.
>
When switch II is turned, the same IC-servo switches on the starter engine
until the internal combustion engine is steadily idle running.
>
The starter engine is switched off but is further annealed to avoid the
dying of the internal combustion engine during acceleration.

At full throttle, the internal combustion engine runs steadily and the
heater plugs can be switched off.
> It is advisable to anneal preliminary when the internal combustion engine is running at half throttle during the landing stages to avoid a dying of the engine. Proceed in the same order when starting in the air.
Safe starting of the internal combustion engine is only possible on ground.
It is also possible to use the electronic on-board starter for the single
purpose of starting the internal combustion engine safely and without help
on the ground. This operating mode only requires the attachment of the starter
switch together with the starter engine inside the model and the equipment
of a starting box with starting storage battery - heater plug engines additionally
require a plug warmer - and of the switch combination. Then just connect it
with a board plug. The on-board starter is manually switched on and off.

Current supply of the electronic on-board starter.
The current supply of the starter engine and of the heater plug requires just a NC-storage battery to which also the electronic plug warmer is connected.
Our aim was to make the first installation as well as the retrofittings as easy as possible. Milled strap runners allow every common engine carrier for 5.0-35cc heater plug engines.
It is particularly easy to attach the on-board starter together with the backwall attachment of the engine. Every kit contains a detailed instruction manual for a problem-free installation of the electronic on-board starting system.
We hope you will enjoy your hobby
with our on-board starting systems! .
